NCDPI ELA Resources LiveBinder - Provides instructional resources, strategies, and support materials, as well as professional development and training materials organized by topic in a tab format. 



Common Core Vignettes - Provides discussion on a variety of Common Core topics, including:  Lesson Design, Scaffolding, Close Reading, Vocabulary, Writing from Sources, Speaking & Listening, and Text Dependent Questions.  Videos are provided with in-class demonstrations for each topic.



NCDPI ELA PD Menu - Provides quick links to Professional Development materials, PowerPoints, Wikis, etc. provided by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.



In Common Writing - Provides sample on demand writing tasks for elementary, middle, and high school.  Includes text and supporting materials for each task.



NCDPI Using Primary Sources - These lessons pair literary text with primary sources and are aligned to the NC Standard Course of Study for ELA.



The ELA SCOOP Newsletter - This newsletter is published several times a year by the NCDPI English Language Arts Team.  It contains ELA information and updates, as well as best practices and instructional support materials.



NC WISE OWL - Provides access to various online resources and materials, including primary source documents, Library of Congress digital collections, etc.  Also provides students and teachers with the ability to conduct online library searches through EBSCO Host.
